Research Area

Our Secure and Efficient Vision for Autonomous Systems (SEVA) Lab, currently focuses on using state-of-the-art deep learning architectures with computer vision techniques to improve the performance of smart environments, while also maintaining a balance of efficiency and explainability. we’ve recently obtained the relevant hardware (Drones & Ground Robots) through projects to realize these approaches for real-time implementation on such low-end computational devices. Simultaneously, these novel techniques will be translated into publications and patents to further substantiate the importance of efficiency and explainability of smart systems.
